When I had that problem last year on my 1997 it was the spark plug. I changes the plug to a hotter plug (DPR8EA-9) and it runs fine. If you leave the choke on accidentally it will clog up your plug, then you have to clean it out. It's a real pain when it's the plug. Take the gas tank off just for a plug!
